Bjorn Staps (1975)
As a photographer, Bjorn is attracted to natural moments of people experiencing life. The main characters in his images enjoy real-life moments, products, or places, depending on the purpose of the photo. His photographic work can be recognized as 'slices of life', visualized in aesthetically pleasing images.
Next to his commissioned work, Bjorn works on long-term personal projects of people who are looking for a personal form of freedom, heroism, and toughness.
In addition to personal projects and commercial photography, Bjorn is a lecturer at the Photography Department of the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, The Netherlands.
