Yori van Kesteren

Yori van Kesteren (23) is a Dutch-based photographer who doesn’t only register photos but is always searching for something new. In his practice, he works with the subject “vulnerability,” and he has projects about “autism, stimulation & decaying.” Currently, he is working on a project about “disappearance,” which is in the research phase of the project. In 2020, Yori did his first exhibition for Kunstbende (a Dutch organization for young artists which is also a competition); since then, he grew towards making thematic art projects, in 2025 for instance for “Kasteeltuinen Arcen.” During his senior secondary vocational education photography study at SintLucas, he found out that he wanted to become an artist with a practice in photography, so after a gap year he started a bachelor Photography at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague in 2025.
